Get to know Jennifer Sanders, Las Vegas Sign Professional

We are excited to start a new series to introduce you to all of the wonderful people that work for MSI! We’ll be highlighting employees from Sales to Production since it takes a whole team to make magic happen. For our inaugural post, we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Sanders, Account Executive for our Las Vegas Division. Jennifer has been with Motivational Systems for three years this month (Happy Anniversary Jen!) and is an active member of both the Professional Women in Building, Las Vegas Chapter and the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association. Let’s get to know Ms. Sanders.

What is your name and job title at MSI?
Jennifer Sanders, Account Executive for the Las Vegas Division.

What do you like most about working for MSI?
I love the people in our company, helping the clients, solving problems and being involved in our industry.

Would you rather build a sandcastle or a snowman?
Sandcastle! I love the beach. The snow is fun for 10 minutes and then I want to go inside and drink something hot by the fire. I get cold when the AC is set below 78.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a Princess so I could dress up and wouldn’t have to do chores. My mother’s nickname was “Penny Pine-Sol” – she was a nut about cleaning and put us to work.

Do you like to cook and what is your specialty?
I love to cook! I have a great lasagna recipe with super thin hand-made noodles and bechamel sauce.

What three things are always in your refrigerator?
Franks hot sauce, lots of different cheeses and broccoli. I don’t eat as much broccoli as I used to since I have been banned from heating it up in the office microwave! LOL

When you visit the Zoo, which animal do you make sure to see?
I’m a mess at the zoo. I have to see and photograph EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL. I can spend days at the zoo.

Who is your favorite singer/musician/musical group?
The one album I have loved for over 20 years and never get tired of is John Coltrane, In a Soulful Mood. However, most days I listen to crappy pop music because it keeps my energy up.

If you could have a superhero power, what would it be?
Teleportation for sure! I love to travel. I love the idea of being able to go anywhere I want, anytime, for free!

How long would you last in a zombie apocalypse?
10 seconds. I have zero survival skills and wouldn’t want to live like that. I saw The Walking Dead…no thanks!

What’s your favorite song to work out to?
At the gym, I hop on the elliptical and watch Netflix. The time flies and I don’t feel like I’m wasting time watching TV.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
Check in with friends and family, make plans for something fun or play catch up/clean (there’s always something to do!).

Thanks Jen for being a good sport with our questions! Let us know in the comments if you like getting to know our team and if you have any questions you’d like us to ask!
